What is a jutti?
A traditional South Asian flat — handcrafted, iconic, and instantly recognisable. Known by many names (jutti, mojari, khussa), but always the same silhouette: the M‑toe shape, clean lines, timeless proportions. We kept the soul and rerouted the rest.
Are your shoes vegan?
Yes. We don't use animal leather — ever. We use premium vegan materials, natural textiles, and recycled components where they perform best.
Where are you based?
Hong Kong.
Where are your shoes made?
We design in Hong Kong. Select styles use artisanal uppers crafted in South Asia. Final shoes are assembled in China in small runs and shipped from Hong Kong.
Do they run true to size?
Yes — true to size. If you're between sizes, we recommend sizing up.
Are they good for wide feet?
Yes. The silhouette is naturally forgiving and works well for many regular-to-wide feet, including mild bunions.
Why do they have a left and a right?
Traditional juttis are often worn "no left, no right." We kept that flexibility, but because we added ergonomic arch support — designed to sit under the arch of your foot — each shoe is shaped for a specific side. Wear them left/right for the best support. You can still swap them if you prefer, but the intended fit is left and right.
How do I care for them?
Wipe clean with a damp cloth. Avoid soaking or wearing in rain. Air-dry away from direct heat. Store with tissue or shoe paper to keep shape.
What materials do you use?
We use premium vegan suede, vegan leather, natural khadi cotton, and recycled rubber — chosen for how they look, feel, and wear.
What makes the MŪLA different from the TARA?
MŪLA — Artisanal. Hand block printed on 100% khadi cotton by South Asian artisans. Each piece is unique.
TARA — City chrome. Chrome-tone studs on premium vegan suede. Light-catching. Everyday.
How long does shipping take?

Orders are processed within 1–3 business days (excluding weekends and public holidays).
Do you ship worldwide?
Yes. We offer free standard delivery (tracked & insured) to selected destinations. Everywhere else, shipping is calculated at checkout.

Who pays for duties and taxes?
For orders shipped outside Hong Kong, any duties, VAT/GST, customs clearance charges, or courier handling fees are not included in your order total. If applicable, these are paid by the purchaser upon delivery.
What is your return policy?
Returns accepted within 14 days of delivery. Items must be unused and in original packaging — box, dust bag, and all inserts included.
Return shipping is covered by the customer. We recommend using a tracked, insured service.
How do I start a return or exchange?
Email us at hello@mulamarga.com with your order number. Once approved, your refund or exchange will be processed within 14 working days.
Can I exchange for a different size?
Yes, subject to stock availability. Let us know in your email.
